Incursion is a game mode that is similar to FPS with a few different additions. It was added in Content Patch 11 on Steam. The game mode is mainly focused on a simple objective of defending yourself against endless waves of enemies similar to the Wasp and trying to get a high score.
Gameplay[]
Upon starting Incursion, the player is given a weapon similar to the lightning gun in FPS mode. The weapon can be given multiple upgrades which help the player survive longer. Defences may also be added to the game which can be upgraded. Materials similar to the Gears in FPS mode are used for these upgrades. This is subject to change upon development of the game mode.
